Master Gardener and Master Naturalist Volunteer Event

  • Watersong Wild Space 2201 South Midland Drive Midland, TX, 79703 United States (map)

We invite Master Gardeners of the Permian Basin and the Llano Estacado Texas Master Naturalists to help us in our butterfly gardens. Last years growing seasons allowed many of our native and beneficial plants to thrive and grow. However as the seasons changed so does our garden. Many of the plants have entered dormancy and are ready to be cut back. This volunteer day will have participants helping trim back last seasons growth.

We will provide tools, water, and gloves. We ask volunteers to please bring reusable water bottles for our water cooler, and to dress in outdoor attire with closed toed shoes. Hats and sunscreen are recommended too. We will meet at the pavilion next to our parking lot.

This event is for Master Gardeners and Master Naturalist.
