What makes a mammal a mammal? In this lesson, we’ll explore warm-blooded animals with fur or hair, learn how they care for their young, and discover the unique traits that set mammals apart from other animals. We’ll use the elusive bobcat as our guide, examining how it moves, lives, and thrives in its habitat. Activities will highlight mammal adaptations and help learners recognize common mammal features in the wild.
